Proximity voltage detectors are instruments used to verify the presence of voltage in conductive elements, in alternating current. Through the audible and visual signals produced by the equipment, it is possible to ascertain the presence of voltage in the network. The equipment is generally used in installations such as:
- Distribution lines
- Transmission lines
- Substations
- Cubicles
The detector housings have a universal fitting, which allows for remote handling with the aid of telescopic hot sticks.
